Dr. A. is a Published Author of the book entitled "Turning In Is The Only Way Out" available at Goshen Publishers and AMAZON. Dr. A's contribution to the existing body of knowledge has been a Dissertation in the form of a qualitative phenomenological study. She examined a purpose sample of Baby Boomers (BB; birth groups 1946 through 1964) and Generation Nexters (GN; birth groups 1980 through 2000) employed by a Fortune 500 building products service industry in Atlanta, Georgia. Through open questioned interviews, the focus was to explore the selected participants lived experiences and perspectives relating to the value differences between the Baby Boomers and the Generation Nexters within the work environment. Four themes emerged as best practices for retention: (a) Personal values involves honesty, which increases communication; (b) Job motivation involves increasing morale by offering more appreciation, incentives (flexible hours), and programs, which result in strengthening teamwork and a secure future; (c) Training involves career counseling and workshops, which reduces generation learning gaps and miscommunication; and (d) Employee contributions include life settlements for employees who have limited knowledge about financial planning. Graduate of Capella University Nonprofit Agency Management Certification program. Completed 48 hours at Capella University towards a PhD in Public Service.
Dr. A. , the entrepreneur is committed to leveraging her skill sets in order to empower others. She believes within every individual are gifts that need to be discovered and or merely developed. Sometimes, we simply need a little extra encouragement and that is where I must serve. She believes as human beings, none of us really have weaknesses, only weaker strengths, and talents for which we simply have not developed yet. Thus, she prays each day that I will be in the position to serve my sisters and brothers and encourage all to never give up on being all that we can be. For we may never know how our little shinning light might just be the glimmer of hope that is needed to pave the way for the next person in line. She maintains, she is her brothers and sisters keeper!!!
